Best PlayStation Vita games: Future games revealed

Game play and trailers from the the first games we're expecting to see.

After Sony and PlayStation revealed the PSVita earlier this week, here's a collection of footage from E3 showing a glimpse of what we can expect from some of the console's most aniticipated titles.





Dust 514

Due to hit PS3 in the summer, it has been announced that the first person shooter will allow players to see the EVE universe from a whole new perspective, and will extend across the full range of Playstation products, so expect to see some cross platform Vista action.

LittleBigPlanet



Always a strong candidate to feature on the Sony handheld, the game looks set to use all of the Vita's methods of control to complete levels, meaning you'll be able tilt, touch and tap your way through the game using the OLED touchscreen, and rear touch panel.

ModNation Racers



This new version of the kart style racer will make use of the Vita's rear panel and OLED touchscreen to allow you to create and customise your own tracks, you'll also be able to play on thousands of tracks created by the ModNation online community.



E3 Gameplay Trailer:



Ruin



Ruin is to be first cross-platform game between PSVita and PS3 - the RPG will let you send your game into the cloud and continue gaming on your PS3, and will be the first of many to show off this feature.

Street Fighter X Tekken



This cross over version of the classic beat-em-up games has certaintly attracted a lot of attention, and at E3 we were finally able to get an idea of what we can expect from it on the PSVita.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss

One of the most anticipated launch titles sees PS3's Nathan Drake make his portable debut on the Vita, in a storyline set before Drake's Fortune. The console's hi-res OLED touch screen will make long-distance gunning a dream.

WipEout 2048



Synonymous with any PlayStation launch, this new version of the space-age racer will use some PSN Wi-Fi magic to allow players to compete against near-by users, either on the hand held console or on the PS3.



PSVita trailer:



BioShock

No video as yet, but during his speech at E3, Irrational Games Creative Director Ken Levine confirmed that BioShock Infinite - due on PS3 this summer - will be compatible with PlayStation Move, and that the company were working on a new BioShock game for PSVita. Watch this space.
