Led by the recent introduction of Htc as a handset provider the Enthusiasm windows Cellphone cellular os is to meet or exceed the cellular phone business of Apple's iOS devices by 2015, new reviews have recommended.
Despite strong iPhone 4S revenue seeing the iOS reveal of the cellular phone segment increase considerably during the final quarter of 2011, new hardware partners and larger customer awareness are required to give Windows cellular os an edge in at some point.
The new figures, collected by logical firm IHS has recommended that in just three decades "Windows Cellphone will account for 16.7 % of the smartphones on the market shipped, up from less than 2 % this year."
Nokia Enthusiasm windows Phone
Hinting that Htc could hold the key to the success of the Enthusiasm windows Cellphone foundation John Lam of IHS said: "Combined with Nokia's efforts to drive the development of the Enthusiasm windows Cellphone environment, the Lumia 900 and its successors will help Enthusiasm to recover its No. 2 ranking in cellular phone os business in 2015.
"Although Htc is not the only seller of Enthusiasm windows Cellphone smartphones on the market, the company is predicted to control the industry, accounting for 50 % of all Enthusiasm OS-based devices sold in 2012. The firm's reveal then is set to increase to 62 % in 2013. Nokia's portion of the industry will begin to decline in 2014, as other companies increase their revenue of Enthusiasm windows Cellphone products."
Whilst Enthusiasm windows Cellphone dukes it out with iOS for second spot Google Android iOS is predicted to retain its major reveal of the cellular phone segment for the long run.
